Kathryn

Kia ora, I’m Kathryn Sandford –  Life Coach extraordinaire, well-loved wife, and super-mum to two young-adult children.

My first, of many, life lessons came while teaching:

  1. Stay true to yourself, and
  2. Money isn’t everything

Forgetting these life lessons shattered me when everything around me changed – personal tragedy, depression, stress, financial worries, and losing my job – not once but three times!

For years I found myself stuck, asking two questions:

  1. Why is this happening to ME? and
  2. What the hell should I do with my Life?

Finally, in my late 40s I started answering these questions; beginning my own journey of discovery and learning. Along the way, it hit me. Bang. My strengths are in teaching and coaching.

I’ve made many mistakes and wrong decisions over the years. At the time I believed they were failures. But now I understand these mistakes helped me learn. I now see them as strengths.

Ever since then, I’ve been coaching others along their personal journeys. I can help guide you in personal resilience, facing adversity, celebrating success, embracing failure, balancing the demands of life, and learning how to love your life.

With utter passion and conviction, I believe we all desire happiness. We all strive toward the goal of living an ideal life. Some of us achieve that goal. Others fall short.

I support my clients through both success and failure along their journey. I always make it a priority to help my clients change and sustain that change.

I am committed to helping you achieve your vision for a better life. My coaching focuses around supporting and guiding you by providing the specific tools and techniques to empower you to embark on a journey toward living your “ideal life”.

He who knows others is wise. He who knows himself is enlightened – Lao Tzu quotes (Chinese Taoist Philosopher)

Services

I offer three types of services:

  1. Life Vision
  2. Reinvent Yourself – The power of possibility
  3. Take a Bite

Life Vision

Ask yourself the following questions:

  1. Do you know what you want in your life, but don’t know how to make it happen?
  2. Are you afraid you will be in the same financial situation you’re in today a year from now?
  3. Do you want a more nurturing and positive relationship with your partner / spouse?
  4. Do you wish you could unlock the benefits of improved health and vitality?
  5. Do you feel like you’re not in control of your life but your life is in control of you, sending you into an unbalanced state of frustration?

If you answered YES to any, it might be good to consider Life Vision.
With Life Vision I’ll coach you towards your ideal self. With one on one sessions, I can guide you to discover your absolute passion in life: your ideal life vision. You’ll find once you’ve (re)discovered your passion, everything else falls into place.

Reinvent Yourself – The power of possibility

Ask yourself:

  1. Do you feel stuck in a place where you don’t want to spend the rest of your life?
  2. Are you anxious about retirement or not sure what you want to do during retirement?
  3. Do you know what to do in the next stage of your life? Changing or losing jobs, kids leaving home, little savings / high debt?
  4. Are you wondering where to from here?
  5. Have you tried to reinvent yourself, lose weight, get fit and failed?

If you answered YES to any, it might be good to consider Reinvent Yourself.

With Reinvent Yourself I help Baby Boomers through the liminal period to tackle the next stage in their lives. I concentrate on renewing the energy and passion for possibilities in your life and enable you to reinvent yourself in this next stage.
